Post natal Reformer Goals
This course runs for 6 weeks.
The workout are created to integrate you back into your regular Pilates workout.
We focus on opening the lower back , re introduce abdominal work with a strong focus on reconnecting the abdominal wall and connecting to the pelvic , opening the chest and strengthening and supporting the upper back and arms
We learn how to move well in and out of the studio and strengthen our body for the heavy demands of being a parent.
You may be 4 weeks postnatal and have approval from your LMC to return to light exercise.
C/sections are advised to wait until they have been cleared to return. Usually 12 weeks.
Pilates will help you get strong enough to support your return at a later date to running and sport.( please don’t hurry back into running etc too early)
Bring your baby, a rug for baby to lie on and some toys or come alone.
Change table and facilities for baby in the clients bathroom.
Cancellation Policy: classes are available to be changed up until 24 hours prior to the beginning of the class via PunchPass. Failure to change your class before this cut-off will result in a forfeited payment.
Injury Prevention Note: please be in tune with your own body. The Pilates Room aims to be tension and pain free. Muscles working is fine, discomfort and pain is not to be tolerated and must be communicated to your instructor.
